Our PONTAMS® soft tampons are an outstanding game changer in the tampon world. Vegan, soft and reusable, PONTAMS® are there for you where all the traditional and alternative tampons have let you down. Indeed, PONTAMS® are made of the tuber of an Asian plant. The tuber of the plant is rich in soluble fibers, which, when mixed with water, have an exceptional ability to absorb liquid. These fibers not only hold water but can also trap substances within their structure, making them useful for maintaining moisture.

Additionally, the natural ingredient glucomannan can support the growth of beneficial bacteria, contributing to a healthy microbiome. This is because the fibers of this tuber are prebiotics, serving as food for probiotics in your vagina. Probiotics can help maintain a healthy vaginal microbiome by outcompeting harmful bacteria and fungi, thus preventing infections and promoting overall vaginal health. Similarly, the inhibition of unwanted bacteria and fungi can be attributed to the maintenance of a balanced pH level and the presence of beneficial microbes. Our plant-based PONTAMS® are thus providing a natural, biodegradable option that supports your vaginal health while also being effective at absorbing menstrual blood.

Now that you have discovered the magical composition of our soft tampons, let’s go through how to use them step by step.

It is very important to wash your hands thoroughly before unpacking the soft tampon, and this is for any menstrual products you are using.

  1. Soak the soft tampon in warm water for about 10 seconds.
  2. Squeeze it out so it's moist, not wet.
  3. Press it with two fingers, insert it, and push it up with one finger. The cotton loop should barely peek out.
  4. After a maximum of 8h, remove it with clean hands and wash it first in cold water, followed by warm water. You can reuse it for up to 3 days or dispose of it.
